Dr. Barak Benaryeh DVM, DABVP is the owner of Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital.

He graduated as a veterinarian from the University of California Davis (UC Davis) in 1997 and then completed an additional year of training in Small Animal Medicine, Surgery and Emergency at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Benaryeh is board certified in canine and feline practice. In addition to veterinary practice, he has worked with veterinary students at both Tufts University and A&M University. He is a regular contributor to Clinician’s Brief Veterinary Journal and also writes for Veterinary Team Brief.

In his free time he enjoys swimming, reading, and hikes with his wife, two children, and three dogs. The family cats and bearded dragon lizard stay home and wreck the house.
