- Keep the carrier out so your cat can become accustomed to it
- Place familiar bedding and toys inside

- Holding the carrier from the bottom (like a present) can decrease swaying and jostling
- Covering the carrier with a towel can help your cat feel safer
Treats
- Bring your cat's favorite treats to the visit
- They can be used as distraction or reward
